Privacy Policy

PostDP is operated by Chigisoft Limited (Nigeria), which is the data controller. The platform is owned by Chigisoft Limited (Canada), which licenses it to Chigisoft Limited. Both are Prevera Group companies (preveragroup.com). DPO: privacy@postdp.com.

Chigisoft Limited is registered with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission [registration no. — to be added]. Some data is processed in Canada and the United States by our group companies and service providers (hosting, email, ads) under data-processing agreements with safeguards required by the NDPA. Prevera Crest Limited provides our shared Data Protection Officer and group privacy programme.

Photos you add are processed in your browser and never uploaded or stored.Photos you add to a campaign are processed entirely in your browser to create your image. They are never uploaded to or stored on our servers.

Organiser account and campaign details; anonymous visit and DP counts.For organisers: your account (email, or your Google name, email and profile photo if you sign in with Google), plus each campaign’s name, design, link, end date, story and type. For everyone: anonymous counts of visits and DPs made. We never collect supporters’ photos or names.

Designs are deleted 7 days after a campaign ends (campaigns run up to 6 months). Server logs are kept for 30 days.Full-size designs are deleted 7 days after the campaign’s end date (maximum 6 months, extendable). If the organiser opts in, a small preview, the campaign name, story and final results stay on the Campaigns page until the organiser or PostDP removes them, or the organiser deletes their account. Server logs are kept for 30 days. Deleting your account deletes all of your campaigns.

Google AdSense on public pages, only with your consent where required.We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Canada are asked for consent first.

Depending on where you live — including under Nigeria’s NDPA 2023, the EU/UK GDPR, Canada’s PIPEDA and Alberta’s PIPA — you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent. Contact our DPO at privacy@postdp.com. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
